Breathing back core purpose and values

Today is the first spring! What a wonderful feeling.

Today I am firming up three coaching facilitation sessions for the May Leadership to Life retreat.

The sessions will take place over three mornings with the aim to reset, replenish and reinvigorate the cohort of leaders who attend. I am crafting these sessions carefully, to strike a gentle balance between relaxing break and stimulating professional and personal development: holding a safe and nurturing space to stop and pause, while also replenishing and invigorating creative energies to bounce back into life with full vigour.

I like to think the three sessions are like breathing:

Breathing out - release and pause.

Session one will allow us to pause, to breathe out deeply. Close our eyes, drop our shoulders, be in the moment - it's all okay. We will reflect where we are now and celebrate how far we have come to this point. We’ll enquire into what’s working, what’s not, what’s important, what’s necessary, and what does good look like anyway?

The first session will be followed in the afternoon by wellness and EFT session with wonderful and very experienced instructor Nicky Forbes.

Breathing in - refill.

Session two will be a deep breath in. A full, refreshing, energetic breath, filling up with zest, nourishment and replenishment. Look to the future, what will you create and manifest? What will you leave behind? What changes will you make? What works, feels right and is aligned? What is our shining goal?

Following the session we will take to the hills! Climbing a small but satisfying mini mountain above Lake Ullswater before getting the steamer back and indulging in a gourmet ice cream.

Breathing steady - find flow.

Session three is studying the breath, finding a steady pattern of flow to take away with you.

How do you spend your time? What do you need that fills you up in your daily life? We will look at patterns of working, energy flows and forming healthy habits that are enjoyable and stick. For our last session we will align our professional and personal aspirations to create a future pathway created to support our development in a way that is productive and in flow.

At the end of session 3 we will leave having created our own manifesto for the future, a lovely roadmap to keep on track of personal and professional aspirations and reminder of the week, breathing back our core purpose and values.

And there will be plenty of time in between to wonder around the beautiful gardens of the Manor House, use the studio for creative inspiration or discover the quirks of the village.
